APS Rail2Road Charger
The APS Rail2Road Charger is a powerful DC charger with a satellite distribution system, which can be operated with DC voltage from an overhead line or a rectifier station at 600 VDC or 750 VDC. The charging system is designed for public use. The charging system can be used for CCS or pantograph charging.
The 400KW power unit controls one to four charging points. The satellite units are installed up to 100 m away from the power unit, depending on the conditions and placement of the vehicles to be charged. The system also offers an interface for integration into external charging management systems. All modules of the power unit are designed as 19’’ modules, which makes maintenance and replacement particularly easy. An optional remote terminal guarantees the simplest operation by staff or customers.

APS Rail2Road Charger - DC 400 kW CCS
The APS Rail2Road Charger - DC 400 kW CCS enables charging with CCS plug. Depending on the configuration, one, two, three or four CCS plugs can be operated, with the system performance being limited to 400 kW. The satellites at the charging point can be up to 100 m away from the power unit. The power unit is ideally located near a DC overhead line supply.
- Power source: Direct connection to DC traction power supply 600 / 750 VDC
- Performance Performance unit delivers 400 kW Continuous performance
- Satellite Operation of up to four CCS charging points, optionally with satellites with one CCS cable or satellites with two CCS cables.
- Configurations:
2 x 200 kW, 350 kW fast charging
4 x 100 kW, 200 kW rapid charging - Design IP-54 protected cabinet, suitable for outdoor and depot use.
- Best suited for: Fast charging or overnight charging.

The APS Rail2Road Charger - DC 400 kW Panto-up enables opportunistic charging with a pantograph-up system. The system power is limited to 400 kW and the charging current to 800A. The charging point can be up to 100 m away from the power unit. The power unit should ideally be located near a DC traction power supply.
